Using Casamo

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Casamo’s website, accounts, trip research, reports, AI connections, and related services. By using Casamo, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. What Casamo provides

Casamo is a decision-support service for researching furnished stays. It reviews available listing information, photos, amenities, reviews, and other evidence against the priorities you provide. Casamo does not own, list, rent, manage, endorse, or book accommodation, and it is not a party to any transaction between you and a marketplace, host, property manager, or other third party.

3. Research limitations and your decisions

Casamo uses automated systems, including AI, and information supplied by third parties. Results may be incomplete, unavailable, outdated, or wrong. Prices, availability, policies, and property conditions can change after Casamo checks them. Evidence marked as unverified or uncertain has not been established as fact.

You are responsible for checking important details directly with the marketplace or host before paying or travelling. Casamo does not guarantee that a stay is available, suitable, safe, accurately described, or free from problems. Casamo does not provide legal, financial, safety, accessibility, or professional advice.

4. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and promptly tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise. You may not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits or security controls.

5. Information you submit

You keep your rights in the listing links, trip requirements, questions, and other information you submit. You give Casamo a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and use that information only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You must have the right to submit it and must not submit unlawful, harmful, or confidential information that you are not authorized to share.

6. Plans, payments, and search credits

Current prices, allowances, access periods, and renewal terms appear before purchase. Stripe processes payments. Subscription plans renew for the period shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription through the billing controls in your account; cancellation stops future renewals but does not undo charges already incurred.

A new search normally uses one available search credit. Casamo may restore a credit when a search fails or when a destination search does not produce the stated minimum number of qualified choices, as described in the product. Restoring a search credit does not automatically refund money or extend an expired access period. Contact hello@casamo.app about billing errors or refund requests. Any rights you have under applicable consumer law remain unchanged.

7. Third-party services and AI connections

Casamo may link to or work with services such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stripe, mapping providers, and third-party AI applications. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of their services. Casamo is not responsible for third-party content, availability, conduct, or transactions.

If you connect Casamo to an AI application, that application may access Casamo information within the permissions you approve and may charge separately. You can revoke a connection. Actions that spend a Casamo credit still require the confirmation shown by Casamo.

8. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Casamo, interfere with its operation, probe or bypass its security or access controls, use it to violate another person’s rights, introduce malicious code, make deceptive or unlawful requests, or access accounts or data without authorization. You may not resell the service or use automated access beyond the interfaces and limits Casamo provides unless we agree in writing.

9. Casamo’s rights

Casamo and its licensors retain all rights in the service, including its software, design, branding, and original content. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while you follow them. They do not transfer ownership of Casamo or third-party listing content to you.

10. Availability, changes, and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Casamo and may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed for security, legal compliance, maintenance, abuse prevention, or a material breach of these terms. You may stop using Casamo at any time. Provisions that should reasonably continue after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits, will continue.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Casamo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every need. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Casamo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for losses caused by third-party listings, bookings, hosts, marketplaces, or your travel decisions.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, Casamo’s total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid Casamo during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

12. Applicable law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to Casamo’s operator and to your use of the service, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the updated terms and change the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when reasonably required.
