Connect your AI agent to Casamo

Find a stay, audit listings, and compare your options from your AI agent.

MCP endpoint: https://casamo.app/mcp

Claude Code setup

These steps use Claude Code.

  1. Open AI connections, sign in, and choose Create Claude Code setup.
  2. Copy the displayed command into your terminal and run it.
  3. In the same folder, run claude. Enter /mcp, select casamo, and choose Authenticate.
  4. Review the permissions in your browser and choose Allow access. Return to Claude Code and ask Show my Casamo trips.

Codex setup

Use the Codex CLI to connect. The configuration also works with the Codex app on the same computer.

  1. Open AI connections, sign in, and choose Create Codex setup.
  2. Add the displayed configuration to ~/.codex/config.toml. Replace any existing mcp_servers.casamo entry.
  3. Run codex mcp login casamo in your terminal. Review the permissions in your browser and choose Allow access.
  4. Start a new Codex task and ask Show my Casamo trips.

What to ask

  • Find a stay that fits your life

Find a stay in Buenos Aires for two people from November 1–29, 2026, under US$70 a night, with a proper desk, kitchen, and separate bedroom.

  • Audit places you already found

Audit these Airbnb and Booking.com links for two people working remotely from November 1–29, 2026. Check the desk setup, natural light, and noise evidence. Flag deal-breakers and anything unverified.

  • Decide which stay to book

Compare the three strongest matches in my trip for working and sleeping well. Explain the trade-offs, cite the evidence, and tell me what I should ask the hosts before booking.

  • Refine your shortlist

Make a separate bedroom required and a pool optional, then explain which choices still fit.

For a search or answer still in progress, ask for its status or open your trips.

Credits and confirmations

Connecting, reading trips, and previewing searches do not use Casamo credits. Starting a search uses your free search, if available, or one credit within your active access period. Your AI app’s charges are separate.

Review and confirm new searches, changes to required criteria, and saved-view deletions before they run. If payment is needed, complete checkout in your browser. Check your access or see plans.

Disconnect

In AI connections, choose Revoke access. For Claude Code, then run claude mcp remove casamo in the folder used for setup.

For Codex, run codex mcp remove casamo after revoking access.

Troubleshooting

Codex cannot connect

Update the Codex CLI, check that the complete configuration is saved under mcp_servers.casamo, and keep port 8766 free. Run codex mcp login casamo again using a browser on the same computer, then start a new task.

Casamo already exists, or is missing from /mcp

Open Claude Code from the folder where you ran the setup command. To replace an existing entry, run claude mcp remove casamo, then run the command from AI connections again.

Authentication fails or the browser cannot return

Use the complete setup command, keep port 8765 free, and use the browser on the same computer as Claude Code. Retry /mcp → casamo → Authenticate.

Trips or scan access are missing

Check that your trips belong to the account you connected. Check your remaining searches and access period on Account. To create a trip, start a search.
